Location

Four Geese Outfitters is located in the province of Quebec, Canada on the shores of Four Geese Reservoir. Access to the main Lodge is 148 kilometers (92 miles) North of Baie Comeau, Quebec on Route 389. A private, well-maintained gravel road leads from Route 389 North to the main Lodge.

Four Geese is an immense Resevoir water system of 625 square km. located 650 meters above sea level. This reservoir is about 240 km long and 35 km wide. The deepest part of the reservoir is 220 feet. We have access to about 225 lakes and ponds throughout the Reservoir area, some have cabins and some have boats. Each lake is rarely fished more than a couple times a year to maximize fish production and angler success. This Reservoir has countless bays and inlets that are fished for pike and lakers. About 15 major rivers enter the Reservoir, each with its own unique ecosystem and fish species. Also, countless brooks and cold springs enter the Reservoir providing cool temperatures to fish in the middle of summer. This Reservoir stays relatively cool during most of the year regardless.

Note: There is no road access to remote Cabins on the Reservoir. Accessible by water only.

Directions: From the Montreal International Airport (Dorval) take Route 520 East to Route 15/40 East and continue on Route 40 East to Quebec City (approx. 250 kilometers). At Quebec City, take Route 138 East to Baie Comeau. (approx. 400 Kilometers). At Baie Comeau, take Route 389 North to the turn off to Four Geese Outfitters Main Lodge on Four Geese Reservoir (Outardes Quatre Reservoir).
